Out of fate or boredom, I picked up my first camera as a graduation gift to myself. I haven’t been bored since. Apart from photography, I’m an undying fan of cats; Thai and Indonesian food; sunny mornings; the ocean; shopping for fresh seafood and produce at the market; cooking; boutique kitchen shops; journeys involving obscure forms of transportation, to obscure places; lime juice; teh tarik; napping; and good old fashioned realpolitik.
I love my day job, but couldn’t live without a creative outlet. I specialize in travel and lifestyle photography, and have developed a huge appreciation for capturing everyday life – whatever or wherever that may be. As a lifestyle photojournalist, I cringe at the thought of awkward poses, processing photos until you can’t recognize yourself, or reducing this amazing, colourful world to black and white. I like to keep my photos fresh, real, and ready to hang on the wall as fine art.
I’m based out of Singapore, but as a dedicated nomad, my passport is always on standby. I’m more than happy to travel just about anywhere.
