Canada part II | Tyax Resort

Tyax is the anti-Singapore. If there was an exact opposite of the city-state, it would most definitely be Tyax lodge. At one point we drove for 6 hours and only saw four other people… and three moose. Was a great weekend chilling in log cabins with the extended Pitt Meadows family, drinking wine, driving up the mountain to see what kind of trouble we could get into…. and drinking more wine.

By “log cabin” kind of mean “log mansion.” Even though it’s in the middle of nowhere, Tyax isn’t very rustic.

Carmen Augustine - Carli! This is so lovely! You really do have a talent. Thanks for capturing our time together and sharing it with us all.

Jaclyn MacKinnon - Hey, that was awesome! Looks like it hasn’t changed much up there.
Everyone’s just a bit older and there’s a lot more wine than there was when I used to go. Who put the suburban in the ditch?

Carlina - @Jaclyn…. the suburban was Sonja’s work ;)

Robert Morton - Wow those are really really beautiful photos, and not only are the photos perfect but you have captured so many of the exact moments of the AUGUSTINE TIAX TRIP. Really really well done!!!!!

Vee - Amazing photos, Carli! I’m a fan! :)

Cheryl - All of these photos are gorgeous! I especially love the one of Yvonne and I air kissing- sooo cute!!

Sonja - Love your website, can’t wait to see you in the summer!
